CATHEXIS today announced that Luther “Luke” McGinty, Chief Technology Officer, has been named a 2026 Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) AI50 Honoree in the AI Executive category.
The AI50 Awards recognize leaders advancing the development and application of artificial intelligence across the region. McGinty’s selection reflects his work driving CATHEXIS to deliver AI, data, and platform engineering practices to support complex federal mission environments.
“Luke has been a critical part of how we build and apply technology solutions at CATHEXIS,” said Shawn Gundrum, President and CEO of CATHEXIS. “His work reflects the kind of disciplined, practical innovation our customers need, and we’re proud to see his leadership recognized.”
As CTO, McGinty helps lead CATHEXIS’ technology strategy, including the continued development of CATHEXIS Labs, the company’s internal innovation hub focused on prototyping, technical expertise, and mission-ready solutions. His work supports CATHEXIS’ broader focus on building repeatable, scalable approaches that help federal agencies adopt emerging technologies in practical ways.
“In federal environments, AI has to be more than a concept,” said McGinty. “It has to be reliable, secure, and connected to the mission. At CATHEXIS, our focus is on building solutions that teams can use, trust, and continue to improve over time.”
The AI50 awards highlight executives delivering measurable impact through AI across government and industry. The full list of honorees is available here.
